Love my Saturated Canary

Hey guys,
I know I need to break out and get other digis. I should have made it one of my New Years resolutions. Actually, I think my next purchase will be from The Paper Nest Dolls, they are super cute. Ok, on to the card. I colored her with Prismacolor pencils. Trying to decide if I should even try Copics, Ugh, not sure. Any who... I used some random paper from my scrap box, I'm trying to do that more because it seems like it is growing!! The banner is Heidi Swapp, clearance at Michales :)

The flowers are Wild Orchis Crafts and CraftSupplies 1. 

I used Perfect Pearls "Perfect "Pearl" on the balloon.

TP Roll Box

Hey guys,
For this box I used an industrial TP roll from work. I made it the same way I did when using the Pringles can.

I cut one side totally open and then made a slit opposite that, on the inside. This created the hinge. I then cut the sides out of chipboard and adhered them with hot glue. 

I painted the inside top and sides with white paint. I covered the outside with Prima Romantique "Hilary". 

Some lace, pearls, a closure and it's all done. Well I might add more to it but I just thought the paper was so pretty, I did not want to cover it.

I decided on a Sherri Baldy image for this card. I used my Prismacolor pencils to color her up. I then  added some lace, flowers and several sprays from the wedding section.

Fairy Card

Hey guys,

Well another Saturated Canary image. I just can't get enough of Saturated Canary, Sherri Baldy, Tiddly Inks, Whimsie Doodles...I could go on and on but, I won't. :) Ok so here is the card I made.

The card is 6x6. I embossed the white card she is matted on and used my Gelatos to add color. 

I also used my Gelatos to color the cheese cloth and some of the flowers.

Hey guys,

I wanted to share a Valentine card and bag I made today. The bag is for a swap I am in. I did not have a 5x7 bag so I made one from a 12x12 sheet of paper which I cut to 11x8. I used a Saturated Canary image, which I colored with my Prismacolor Pencils.

For the card I used a Whimsie Doodles image, which was a freebie on their site. Again, I colored her with my Prismacolor Pencils. Whimsie Doodles-  http://www.whimsiedoodles.com

Altered Pringles Can

Hey Guys,

I hope everyone is doing well today. Just wanted to share something I altered, a Pringles can. I belong to a group on Facebook, The Craft Hole, and someone had posted a picture of what I thought was a balsa box. When I clicked on the picture it took me to a blog but it was in a different language. Luckily she had posted a few process pictures and I discovered it was a Pringles can, not a balsa box. So I thought "piece of cake". So I gave it a try.

Here is what I came up with.

This is what I looked like before it was put together and all the pretties were put on.

I cut about 3 inches off the bottom end and cut the lip off the top. Then I made ends out of chipboard.

Being my first one I thought it came out pretty good.

Hey guys,
So, today is my last day of freedom, I mean vacation. I wanted to get another project done. A very sweet friend sent me a balsa box from Michaels, I have never been able to find one so she sent me one of hers. I got it in the mail yesterday and could not wait to alter it, so I did last night.

I have been hoarding some Pinkpaislee London Market paper so I decided to use it. The two pages I used were Mayfair and Notting Hill. Mayfair is on the main part of the box, Notting Hill is on the sides.

Some of the flowers I used she sent me along with the box, otherwise the bling and other flowers were from my stash. The edges were inked with Vintage Photo.
